What was the highlight of Olinda Rio Hotel Rio de Janeiro
Good value for the money
The staff was amaizing. From the welcome staff at the door, to check in to service after. They were outstanding in their customers service. The location is also great. Just across from the copacabana beach and close to lots of shops, restaurants and services. The breakfast was good had quite abit of selection and the staff at the restaurant were great and welcoming. The building itself is old but quaint so don't expect too much in terms of esthetics. But it is very clean at all locations at all times. Overall ok stay for the price.
Well the Mattresses in the room were very thin and was kind of uncomfortable for me. There is a TV in the room but I think kind of old. I prefer Tvs I can cast on especially when there are no English channel s on TV. One of The elevator was broken down during our stay and it was kind of making it hard to use one elevator for the whole hotel. You would be waiting for long to get on one.

We stayed 2 nights in this pleasant, old fashioned hotel where we had a lovely beach view, a balcony, breakfast, helpful
Great view, very nice balcony, friendly staff, close to beach, comfortable room, good lobby, close to shops, refrigerator in room, allowed to stay past checkout time so we could leave closer to our flight time.
Elevator by reception was not working right and trapped another couple in the night, causing an alarm and pounding & yelling, interrupting our sleep and trauma to the people trapped by door that would not open on 11th floor. No muffins or croissants for breakfast.
